Ganglioside GM3 synthase deficiency family meeting
|
The GM3 Family Meeting was a great day of sharing.
Dr. Wang began speaking about new information he has learned about
this devastating disorder. Dr. Kevin Strauss, from the Clinic for
Special Children in Lancaster also spoke with attendees. Dr. Cui
from Wake Forest University also attended. The event was attended
by approximately 60 parents and 10 children with GM3 synthase
deficiency. It was agreed by all attending that the event should
be held each year to help families communicate with each other. We
look forward to another event in the spring of 2010. |
