Patchwork Benefit & Auction
April 26, 2008

We would like to thank all of the volunteers that made our 8th annual Patchwork Benefit and Auction a success.

This year our Patchwork Benefit had a Chinese theme. Along with the Chinese themed dinner and decorations, we had samplings of Chinese tea and handwriting. For entertainment, we had three talented musicians performing; two playing the zither and one playing the violin.

Ganglioside GM3 synthase deficiency family meeting
April 5, 2008
10:00 am - 2:00 pm

The GM3 Family Meeting was a great day of sharing. Dr. Wang began speaking about new information he has learned about this devastating disorder. Dr. Kevin Strauss, from the Clinic for Special Children in Lancaster also spoke with attendees. Dr. Cui from Wake Forest University also attended. The event was attended by approximately 60 parents and 10 children with GM3 synthase deficiency. It was agreed by all attending that the event should be held each year to help families communicate with each other. We look forward to another event in the spring of 2009.
