Multifaceted education is one of three critical components of DDC Clinic’s medical services today. What does that mean – what kind of education do we do and who is our audience?
We partner with families, the community and medical professionals to empower them with knowledge; extensive outreach to families and medical professionals has increased awareness of risk factors and disease processes leading to earlier diagnosis and better plans of care.
We offer family support services such as family gatherings and
a parent lending library.
We collaborate with local, national and international medical communities, sharing knowledge with prominent physicians and research scientists around the world through papers published in prestigious journals such as The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Nature Genetics and The American Journal of Medical Genetics click here for a complete list of our publications; presentations made a leading medical institutions; and through collaborating on similar medical cases click here for more information on our collaborations.
